A hype reel for Tim Jones, one of Australia's leading commercial photographers. Never Always led the strategy and design. I handled the edit, animation, music selection, and all motion, including a late rebuild to accommodate a new Jess Fox section after the cut was locked. Delivered in 16x9 and a bespoke 9x16 for Instagram.

Tim's work has a charge to it. Even from footage and stills, the energy of his shoots comes through. That became the foundation for the reel.

Hundreds of images were sequenced hard to a track by UK producer Switch, chosen after trading playlists back and forth with Tim until the music matched the pace. Fast cuts, kinetic type sequences, everything moving together and done in under a minute. The brief kept evolving after the edit was locked, but none of that shows in the final piece.
